Time to Stack a Cord of Wood

I would like to get someone to stack three cords of wood for me. How long should it take? I want to know whether to pay a flat fee or by the hour. Thanks!

The time it takes to stack wood is largely dependent on the method of stacking and also how far it needs to be moved.

If the firewood is to be stacked near the location of the wood, I would say that 3 cords can be properly stacked between one and two hours. That of course assumes that the person is moving at a decent pace and is also stacking the wood properly so that it will not topple over at a later date.
