Personally, I have a one that I keep on my back porch that holds enough wood for a weekend of burning. It's perfect because I can fill it up 2-3 times a week from my shed and it acts as a convenient middle-man type of storage solution. It looks nice and lets me keep my firewood even closer to my living room.
Can I use it inside?Sure! How you use the rack is entirely your decision. Many people use them for indoor storage. I prefer to use firewood carts for indoor storage, but racks works great too.
